About

A place where I can write irrelevant anecdotes that make me sound like a pretentious git.

Well, after a small hiccup with servers, my site is back up and running.

If you didn’t know already, I’m a bit over a week away from hitting the travel trail again – this time taking in South America, the states, and back to Europe. From time to time I’ll attempt to regale with tales from foreign lands – much of which may be documented here, so stay tuned. I plan to write a bit more about my itinerary a bit later, but I’ll give you a rough idea now.

From the 26th of February until the 9th of March, I’ll be chilling out in Chile, spending the first 6 days in Santiago, followed by a trip to a town called Pucon, which is south of the Chilean capital (I’d write more – but I have no idea about where Pucon is, other than its south!). On the 9th of March, myself and two of my friends jump on a plane to La Paz, Bolivia, for happy times. Around about the 15th we’re going to travel to lake Titicaca on the Bolivian / Peruvian border, then on to Cusco in Peru, where we undertake the Inca Trail (around about the 21st of March methinks).

From there it all gets a bit random – I have the rough idea of getting to Lagunas in Peru to go into the Amazon basin. I know I am going to have to get to Quito in Ecuador by the 8th of April, where I will work in a hostel for a month (perhaps longer), then I don’t have anything really planned. I leave South America on the 25th of April from Lima, Peru.

From there I go to New York, for about two weeks, then on to London. And then, I really don’t have any further plans – which is, I think, the best way to travel.
